Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a SAP Basis Consultant to join one of our teams.

Our client is a global organization and is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with at least 5 years of experience to join a leading technology team. The role involves managing, maintaining, and leading infrastructure projects within complex SAP environments, while collaborating with multiple teams globally.

Responsibilities

Ongoing management and maintenance of the organization’s SAP systems (Monitoring, Tuning, Troubleshooting).
Leading and executing system installations, upgrades, and System Copies.
Managing cloud infrastructures and integration platforms.
Working closely with development, application, infrastructure, and security teams on a global scale.
Leading automation processes and driving system performance improvements.

Requirements

Professional Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.
SAP HANA: Deep, hands on experience with the HANA platform, including performing upgrades, installations, and System Copies.
Operating Systems: Proven experience working with Linux servers, including OS-level maintenance.
Global Environment: Significant experience working within complex, global enterprise organizations.
Cloud & Platforms: * Familiarity and hands-on experience with the SAP BTP platform.
- Solid understanding and experience with public cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) – Mandatory.
Integration: Practical experience managing and working with SAP PO (Process Orchestration) systems.
Work methodology: Experience working with task and project management platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
Language: Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) – Mandatory.
Job Precentage 60% – 100%

Availability: Monday – Friday and also on call shifts 1-3 times a week including weekends
