Job Overview:

We are seeking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they reach our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, isolate, and report issues, and work towards delivering a seamless and reliable user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans based on project specifications, requirements, and user stories.
  • Test Execution: Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure that the product meets quality standards.
  • Bug Reporting: Clearly document and report bugs, issues, and feedback to the development team, including steps to reproduce and related information.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new changes do not introduce new problems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable input throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  • Quality Advocacy: Advocate for a high level of quality throughout the development process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent learner.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong in Web application and mobile testing.
  • Good Knowledge of JIRA or any test management tool.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge in SQL is an Advantage.
  • Fluent English.
