Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a SAP ECC HCM Support Consultant to join one of our teams!

We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC HCM Support Consultant to provide functional support, maintenance, and enhancements across our SAP ECC HCM landscape.

The role covers a broad range of SAP HCM processes, including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, ESS/MSS, integrations, and ongoing application support. While the consultant will be involved in all HCM-related activities, strong expertise in Time Management and Time Evaluation is a mandatory requirement, as these areas represent a significant portion of the functional scope and support activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, resolve issues, support projects, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support and maintenance for SAP ECC HCM, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and production issues.
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot SAP HCM Time Management and Time Evaluation, including schemas, rules, work schedules, quotas, absences, and attendances.
  • Analyze business requirements and implement configuration changes, enhancements, and change requests across SAP HCM modules.
  • Support and maintain Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and ESS/MSS functionalities.
  • Investigate complex HCM issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop effective solutions while minimizing business impact.
  • Support integrations between SAP HCM and third-party applications, including troubleshooting data and interface-related issues.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure successful delivery of changes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP ECC HCM Consultant.
  • Proven experience in handling maintenance, change requests, enhancements, and ongoing support within SAP ECC HCM.
  • Experience supporting multiple HCM modules in a production environment.
  • Experience with SAP HCM integration with third-party applications.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.

 

 

Functional & Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SAP ECC HCM configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP ECC HCM functionalities with focus on:
    • Personnel Administration (PA)
    • Organizational Management (OM)
    • Time Management
    • Employee and Manager Self-Service (ESS/MSS)

Mandatory Time Management Expertise

Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Time Management
  • Time Evaluation
  • Time Reporting processes
  • Work Schedules and Holiday Calendars
  • Absence and Attendance Management
  • Time Quotas

The candidate must be able to analyze, configure, support, and troubleshoot complex Time Management and Time Evaluation scenarios.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP Time Evaluation, including schemas, rules, and troubleshooting, is required.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, business users, and team members.
