Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Implementor to join one of our teams.

The Marketing Cloud Implementor will be responsible for the hands-on configuration, execution, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role ensures that customer journeys, segmentation, automations, and data flows are implemented accurately and continuously improved. The role includes ownership of QA, new features, bug fixes, ensuring high-quality delivery and system stability. This role will work closely with the Marketing cloud team manager, external Solution Architecture Partner (infrastructure / deep technical design) and cross-functional teams across CRM, Marketing, Data, and Commerce

Responsibilities

  1. Journey Builder Execution
  • Build and deploy customer journeys aligned with business requirements.
  • Configure entry criteria, behavioural triggers, decision splits, fallbacks, and exit logic.
  • Maintain and optimize existing journeys to ensure smooth customer progression.
  1. Segmentation & Data Management (SQL + Data Extensions)
  • Create and manage customer segments using SQL queries and automation logic.
  • Maintain and optimize Data Extensions for accuracy, personalization, and targeting.
  • Collaborate with Product and technical teams to understand required fields and data structures.
  1. Cross-Cloud Orchestration
  • Support data and event flows between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Commerce Cloud, and other platforms.
  • Maintain configurations tied to behavioural triggers (e.g., browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post-purchase flows).
  1. Automation Studio
  • Manage automations for segmentation, data refresh, SQL processing, and triggered jobs.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, missing data, or journey entry issues.
  1. QA & Ongoing Maintenance
  • Own QA for new journeys, segments, automations, and system changes.
  • Conduct bug validation, manage fixes, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Monitor system behaviours, detect issues proactively, and optimize processes.
  • Document and report issues clearly; follow up through resolution.
  • Support UAT and help coordinate release cycles.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to assess feature performance and conversion impact.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational datasets.
  • Experience with segmentation, audience creation, and marketing data.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM objects and processes.
  • Understanding of cross-cloud integrations (MC, CRM, Commerce Cloud).
  • Strong QA, troubleshooting, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Solid project execution skills and familiarity with tools like Jira/Monday.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal English.
