Embedded SONiC Application SW engineer

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 10,000 professionals, is looking for an Embedded SONiC Application SW engineer to join the team of our client and partner – Exaware.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team of skilled engineers, sharing technical know-how and development effort.
  • Develop features through design, implementation, code review and testing.
  • Develop and expand application protocols stack such as IP & MPLS protocol families.
  • Debug and fix issues through log analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with SW, Automation and QA engineers to meet project milestones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as network devices SW developer.
  • Understanding of IP & MPLS networks operation.
  • Experience with developing SONiC based systems either on SAI or features \ protocols level.
  • Understanding of protocols (such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, RSVP, LDP, SR, VRRP, PIM, IGMP) or experience integrating features into SONiC environment.
  • Experience with developing routers or other network elements.
  • Hands on experience in the development of new features.
  • BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • C, C++ proficiency.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Working with Broadcom SDK.
    • HW\SW development and integration of 3rd party HW platform.
    • Linux networking background.
    • Embedded communication systems experience.
    • Experience with high-availability routing concepts.
