•We’re looking for a Team leader with Java experience who manages the Delivery R&D team.
• Manage one or more agile projects, typically to deliver projects, products, and client requirements via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled team.
• Delivering complex projects, breaking down barriers for your team and both planning at a higher level and getting into the details to make things happen when needed (Accountability).
• Manage the R&D releases according to the defined process in ezbob.
• You will be core to decisions that build high-performing teams.
• Manage a multi-discipline team of Java, .Net, React, and QA engineers.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain production-level application code based on microservices architecture for new and existing services.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and ezbob customers, both technical and management.
• Take ownership and be responsible for production issues when needed.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members effectively.
• Providing technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members.
• Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the deliverables to our customers.
• At least 4 years of leading a team of 5 or more developers and QA, working in Agile processes
• At least 3 years of development experience with Java 8, Spring Framework, SQL Server, and MongoDB
• Excellent communication skills with a desire to learn and work independently as well as in a team.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, and deployment processes.
• Proven experience managing release processes. Green/Blue or Canary – an advantage.
• Working with customer’s external tech teams – an advantage
