Matrix Global is seeking a highly experienced Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) Director to lead strategic initiatives and drive business transformation across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of business operations and analytics, with a proven track record of enhancing organizational performance through innovative solutions. This leadership role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Matrix’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) plays a vital role in managing and executing compliance programs for our clients. The Business SME Director will oversee a complex project focusing on solving transaction issues and deploying Actimize solutions globally. This role requires extensive experience and a proven track record in managing high-stakes projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to improve operational efficiency and drive growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business insights, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for business improvement.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend enhancements based on market trends and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide teams on business strategy and project management, fostering continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in business analysis, operations management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
